PACHECA MOSCATEL
DESCRIPTION
Pacheca Moscatel do Douro is obtained from a careful selection of the best Moscatel do Douro grapes from a small plot of Quinta da Pacheca. These are slowly fermented at low temperature (16-18°C) until fermentation is stopped with the addition of brandy. It aged in old chestnut casks, much like an old port wine, with a golden color.
TASTING NOTES
It has a very elegant aroma with hints of caramelized pear. In the mouth it reveals to be a greasy wine, very fat, with glycerin Fresh citric notes and a persistent finish.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
It should be served chilled, especially as a dessert wine. Store the bottle in a cool, dry place.
