Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro Preto

TASTING NOTES
Wine with a light salmon color and aroma of red fruits, slightly tropical and a touch of minerality. The mouth is lively and fresh, with excellent volume balanced by acidity, and a fine and persistent finish with enormous gastronomic potential.

VINIFICATION
Manual harvest in 15 Kg boxes. Grapes of the Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro Preto varieties, destemmed and subjected to gentle direct pressing in a pneumatic press, in order to extract little color, followed by cold decantation of the obtained must. Alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of around 16o C in stainless steel vats. About 20% of the lot aged for 6 months in used French oak barrels.

HARMONIZATIONS
Sushi, Italian and Asian food. It should be served at a temperature between 8 and 10ºC.
