Vineyards : The grapes that give rise to this wine come from two plots of
Quinta da Teixuga planted in granite soils between 400 and 500 meters in altitude.

Vinification : The vinification of this wine was intended to be different.
On a base of skins of Touriga Nacional previously destemmed, crushed and drained, a must was released from grapes of the Encruzado variety, which then fermented together. Fermentation took place at a controlled temperature with periodic pumping over in order to best integrate the white must with the tannins and anthocyanins present in the skins of Touriga Nacional.

Tasting notes
Color : Cherry color.
Aroma : The aroma is subtle, combining the characteristic freshness of the Encruzado with the notes of red fruits and Touriga nacional flowers.
Mouth : In the mouth what is felt only confirms what the aroma suggested: the freshness and vivacity of the Encruzado supported by the elegant tannins of the Touriga nacional, which in themselves constitute the best that the two queens of Dão grape varieties have to offer.
