old vine
Vineyards : Old vines from Quinta da Teixuga.
Vinification : Made from grapes from the Quinta's old vines from Teixuga, with a predominance of the Encruzado variety, this wine fermented in a first stage in stainless steel vats, subject to temperature control, ending the fermentation in new 300 liter French oak barrels, where it aged for another 19 months. During the internship, “bâtonnage” was carried out periodically, in order to obtain the optimal integration of the
wine with wood. After bottling, this wine aged for another 12 months in the bottle.
